Waste Paper Grades

OCC (Old Corrugated Containers)

Description:- Widely recycled, OCC consists of corrugated containers used for packaging. 
Specifications:- Should be free of food waste, plastics, and excessive moisture. Typically, baled for recycling.

Kraft Shopping Bags

Comprising fresh cuttings, sheets, and misprinted bags from new brown kraft material. Absolutely no prohibitive materials are allowed, with outthrows and prohibitives combined not surpassing 1%.

Printed Paper Rolls

“Printed Paper Rolls: These include rolls of paper that have been printed on, suitable for recycling. No prohibitive materials are allowed, ensuring the highest quality for repurposing. The total of outthrows and prohibitives must not exceed 1%, ensuring the material’s integrity and recyclability.”

NCC (New Corrugated Cuttings)

Description:- Offcuts from new corrugated board, unused and clean.
Specifications:- Free from any kind of contaminants, ideal for high-quality paper production.

SOP (Sorted Office Paper)

Description:- Consists of various types of office paper, free from colored and glossy papers.
Specifications:- Typically free from contaminants like staples and paper clips, and with minimal ink coverage.

SWL (Sorted White Ledger)

Description:- Includes white ledger paper, typically high-grade, used in offices.
Specifications:- No colored papers or contaminants, high purity and brightness level.

HWS (Hard White Shavings)

Description:- Clean, white, unprinted shavings from paper mills or printers.
Specifications:- Free from ink, dye, or any colored papers, ideal for premium paper production.

Ferrous - Non Ferrous Grades

Aluminium

Description:- Lightweight, corrosion-resistant metal used in a wide range of products.
Specifications:- Often categorized by alloy type and form (e.g., cast, sheet). Free from significant attachments or contamination.

HMS 1 (Heavy Melting Steel)

Description:- High-quality steel scrap, including thicker steel pieces from construction and manufacturing.
Specifications:- Must be free of galvanized and blackened steel, with a thickness greater than 1/4 inch.

HMS 1 & 2

Description:- A mix of HMS 1 and HMS 2 (lesser quality steel) scraps.
Specifications:- Includes steel of varying thicknesses, generally less than HMS 1 grade.

Copper

Description:- Highly conductive and malleable metal, commonly used in electrical applications.
Specifications:- Graded based on purity, from bare bright copper (highest grade) to various levels of contamination.

Brass

Description:- An alloy of copper and zinc, known for its hardness and corrosion resistance.
Specifications:- Often recycled from plumbing fixtures, hardware, and decorative items. Free from non-metallic contaminants.
